Open Farm Day, July 2008
Open Farm Day is sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, Food &
Rural Resources. A number of farms in Maine, including ours, will be open
for visitors. Our hours will be 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will provide a tour
of the farm followed by a question and answer period. We will cover all
aspects of llamas including, but not limited to, care, feeding,
reproduction, uses, physiology and history. Children will have the
opportunity to work on a small loom. While Open Farm Day is a special day
for visitors, we encourage visiting throughout the year. Please call ahead
if you wish to visit on other than Open Farm Day.
As soon as we know the date, most likely July 27th, we will post it on our website. |
