Return of the Jedi
| Four of our male cria were named by our grandson who is a Star
Wars fan. They are Greenbriar's Yoda, Greenbriar's Obi Wan Kenobe, Greenbriar's Qui-Gon Jinn
and Greenbriar's Han Solo. At the age of six months, Yoda distinguished himself at the 2000 Northeast Llama Showcase by taking first place in Juvenile Light Wool Male class. He then went on to capture Grand Champion of the Light Wool Male Class. Our grandson (who was four at the time) witnessed the birth of Obi Wan Kenobe (on April 18, 2000). This was a big event in his life. He just missed witnessing the birth of Qui-Gon Jinn (on June 22, 2000) by five minutes. The pictures are thumbnails. Click on them to see expanded versions. Yoda placed second and Qui-Gon placed fifth in their respective classes. Easy Wynn, who was also entered, placed first in his class. At the 2002 Northeast Llama Showcase Yoda placed first, Han Solo placed second and Obi Wan placed fifth in their respective classes. Greenbriar's Misty placed fifth in her class. |
