The
birth of a llama is a herd event. Here, Jazzy Lady is greeting Easy Wynn
shortly after his birth.
On
September 1, 1998, we knew that Easy Wynn's birth was imminent, but
Casey decided to quietly give birth to him in the early afternoon by the
side of the shelter away from our house. Jeanne had been keeping a
watchful eye on Casey all morning and last looked in on her after lunch.
About an hour later Jeanne looked out from her fiber studio and saw a
new little llama frolicking around ... and that is how we knew that Easy
had come into this world.
